Shipping Information

  • All in-stock items that are ordered before 3:00 P.M. EST will ship within 4 business days.
  • Custom orders (such as framing) please allow 7-14 business days for production prior to shipping.
  • Any orders that are placed after 3:00 P.M. EST will be processed the following business day.
  • Standard and Priority Fedex Ground order delivery is Monday – Friday. Alternate delivery service schedules are determined by the carrier. You must specifically request any other special delivery options, such as overnight or Saturday delivery; additional charges may apply.
  • All orders placed to PO Boxes or APO/FPO’s will be delivered using USPS.
  • U.S. Customers; local and state sales tax may apply.
  • Orders returned to us due to incorrect or missing address information that was entered by you (the customer) when placing the order may be reshipped but you (the customer) will be responsible for all new shipping charges. Additionally, if you choose not to have the item reshipped you will receive a refund minus all shipping and handling charges.


Return and Exchange Policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with every item that you purchase from Foreign Affair. As described in detail below, if you are not satisfied with an item that you have purchased, you may return the item within 14 days of delivery for either a full refund of the purchase price, minus the shipping, handling or other additional charges; or you may exchange the item for another item of equal or lesser value. The item or items must be returned in the condition in which it was received, and with sufficient packaging to protect the contents. Ideally, if the original packaging is intact, it should be used.  In addition, the package should contain any original packaging with all paperwork, parts and accessories to ensure full credit.

If the item you purchased was either damaged or you received an item other than the item you purchased you will receive a full refund if the item cannot be repaired.  Due to the unique nature of our merchandise, some items are easily and inexpensively repaired (e.g., broken glass or custom frame) while others are impossible to remedy. Please contact Foreign Affair immediately upon receiving a damaged item so that we may swiftly address shipping damages with the carrier and consult with you regarding the possibility of repair.  You must advise us of receipt of damaged merchandise within 7 business days.

You will receive a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase usually within 10-15 business days of our receiving your returned product. Delays may be experienced in the case of incomplete returns or damage claims being delayed by the carrier. Please note that your original shipping costs will not be refunded unless the item you purchased was either defective or you received an item other than the item you purchased .


Return Exceptions

Our return policies do not apply to all items. Purchases of paintings that have been acquired for a particular portfolio, were not already in stock with us, and were pre-approved by you, the purchaser may not be approved for return. If we believe that we can find another purchaser for the painting, we will may approve the return. In this case and if we do not have an imminent buyer, we will assess a 15% Procurement Fee.

It is possible that custom products and products that have been personalized may not be returned or exchanged. It is our aim to fully satisfy you; if we believe we can resell a custom order we may agree, at our discretion, to provide you with a refund or exchange.


Return Instructions

Returning an Item by Mail

If you want to return or exchange an item, follow these steps:

  1. All products must be returned in good condition, in original packaging and with all paperwork to ensure full credit.
  2. Contact Foreign Affair Customer Service Department at 404-213-9251 to describe the reason for return and receive authorization to return the item(s).
  3. Enclose a copy of the shipping form in with your shipment.
  4. Pack the item securely in order to ensure safe return back to us.
  5. Ship the return package to the address indicated on the return address (Foreign Affair International, 705 Old Park Place, Suite B, Roswell GA 30075). For your protection and to ensure you can track the delivery, we recommend that you use UPS or Insured Parcel Post when returning an item.
  6. All return shipping charges must be prepaid unless the item received was defective or you received an item other than the item you ordered. We are not responsible for lost or damaged shipments. We do not accept any postage due on return shipments and we cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries. We highly recommend using a shipping method that offers package tracking.


Refund Method

Your refund will generally be in the same form as the original payment.

Credit Card or Debit Card: When the item was purchased with a credit card or debit card for more than $100, you will receive a full refund less shipping fees.

Cash: When the item was purchased with cash or check for more than $100, you will receive a refund for the purchase price less shipping fees in the form of a check which will be mailed to you within 10 business days of your return.
